Amy Neville
Senior Interactive Designer

How long have you been with Internetrix?
One month.

What drew you to Internetrix as a place to work?
I wanted to work in Wollongong as a designer and when I heard about an upcoming role with the company I was impressed with the company and attracted to a place where opportunities to grow and develop into the web design arena were available.

What does your current role involve?
Designing and overseeing the internal brand & communications from a print perspective, and designing websites for clients. I meet with the client, design the website according to the brief and then construct the website using HTML & CSS. The website then gets handed over to the programming team where they make it into a complete functioning website.

What’s your most memorable or satisfying experience at Internetrix?

Since i've only been here a month, the experiences are minimal, however being able to work with the client from the start of a job is rewarding, the Light & Hope website meeting was really positive. I'm excited to be part of this project which will have great benefits for the community.

What’s the best part of being a member of the Internetrix family?
We're a young bunch who all share similar interests and have fun along the way. It is great to have access and be able to communicate to everyone in the company at a base level, which you don't get as much in larger companies. Since we are relatively small, it's exciting to think that hopefully my input will be part of the growth of this award winning company.

What are you looking forward to in the future at Internetrix?
I am looking forward to being an integral part of this company as it expands and grows. Being part of a dynamic industry, it's exciting to be at the forefront of a changing medium and being able to push boundaries. It's great from a designers perspective being able to work with programmers to solve interactive issues and make your designs come to life, in ways previously thought impossible.
