On the last Wednesday
of July, Internetrix played host to the Illawarra Business Chamber Event – Business
After Hours. Around 300 business owners and representatives braved the cold and came
out to the beautiful function room of the City Beach Function Centre to sink a
few drinks, enjoy some networking and learn what Internetrix has to offer.
Overlooking Wollongong’s
South Beach, Geoff McQueen stood on stage in front of a full-house, revealing e-marketing
statistics that hit home the message that “people are changing how they buy”.
With the importance of businesses having a website reinforced, Geoff then
described the three essential processes for taking advantage of the enormous
online audience:
Promote: Attracting visitors to your website through search
engine optimisation and marketing and online directory services.
Deliver: Presenting the information in the best way and
converting visitors to customers.
Measure: Tracking the effectiveness of your website and using
these statistics to improve the success of your website.
The presentation
was concluded by applause and an instant influx to the Internetrix booths setup
on the sides of the function room where ten Internetrix staff members were smashed
with questions on how Internetrix can promote, deliver and measure their
website more effectively. This was also the point when almost $3,000 worth of
Google merchandise provided to Internetrix was given out to the attendees of
the event.
On the night,
Internetrix offered an Online Promotion Pack and an Online Performance Pack;
service packs aimed at providing the first steps to improving the promotion or
performance tracking of the client’s website. As our valued clients, these
packs are also available to you for the special price that was offered on the
night. More information and sign-up can be found by clicking on the
corresponding banners below.
As well as the
service packs, we also offered tickets to the Internetrix Online Essentials
Seminar. The half-day seminar is open to the public and aimed at providing
information on how your business can succeed on the Internet. More information,
such as the specific seminar topics and online sign-up form for attendance can
be found by visiting http://www.internetrix.net/page/online-essentials-seminar.
All-in-all, the
event was a huge success and we already have a good response for the online
packs and the seminar. We hope that you are also able to make it to the seminar
or will find our online packs useful. Any enquiries about this article can be
